Lafayette 148 is seeking a Part-Time Retail Stylist for our Madison Avenue store. You will represent the brand image, provide expert wardrobe advice, and develop a loyal client base to drive sales while delivering a memorable client experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in premium to luxury selling, existing client relationships preferred, and exceptional customer service and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintains deep connection with clients and drives repeat business to achieve sales goals
• Consistently delivers memorable in store experiences to all clients; plans client appointments to maximize results
• Inform clients on in-store events and new product deliveries to enhance their experience and increase engagement
• Skilled at using multiple channels of technology to strengthen existing relationships and drive new client acquisition
• Possess broad range of product knowledge across all categories of the brand, takes initiative to stay informed to maximize selling potential
• Demonstrate the ability to address a client’s total wardrobe needs across all categories
• Inform clients on brand services to ensure they can enjoy all Lafayette 148 has to offer
• Always puts the client first when resolving issues, exceeding expectations
• Support the operational functions within the store, operational functions may include: opening/ closing procedures, inventory, and daily revenue reporting
• Maintain merchandising and visual presentation standards, supporting the training and development of Stylist

The Stylist represents the brand image and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing a client base to achieve sales goal. The Stylist provides expert product and wardrobing advice while delivering a memorable client experience.

• Must be flexible and have the ability work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs/ladders, and occasionally bend or kneel to access merchandise.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment; constant communication and visual focus required.
• Occasionally lift, carry, or move merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 lbs.
