Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Ohio location. This part-time leadership role focuses on supervising store operations, driving sales, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining store standards.

You will oversee scheduling, staff training, and policy compliance, while supporting a fun and inclusive team environment and ensuring achievement of KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting for sales and tasks, and regular follow-up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment, including helping them understand how their work supports company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships and adhering to Lids Brand Standards.
• Responsible for scheduling and staffing the store, including calling in associates to work in unexpected peaks when the Store Manager is not present.
• Participate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to set goals (for sales and tasks), and regular follow-up.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage store associates’ direct compliance with established company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
