Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app. Roles run year-round at multiple store types including grocery and convenience, with scheduling reviewed during interview.

You will work independently with flexible hours, reporting deadlines, and paid travel at your hourly rate. The position offers steady tasks, some home-flexibility in hours, and opportunities to support major retailers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Able to stand long periods and reach products throughout the store.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
• Perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app.
• Scan barcodes throughout the store and provide quantity for about 45% of products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store each week, which can take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours in select weeks.
• Report to stores within described deadlines and maintain dependability.
