Job summary

ScanScape Retail is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit designated stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations. This data helps improve product and retailer performance and store execution.

The role offers flexibility with hours (5–12 hours per week per store) plus occasional extra hours for special projects, especially Jan–Jun. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes and report quantities as required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year to collect in-store data.
• Scan barcodes in multiple store locations using a mobile app.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Communicate with clients and adhere to weekly deadlines.
• Perform in-store scanning for displays, aisles, and end caps.
• Assist with special projects during peak periods when requested.
