Job summary

ScanScape Retail invites part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit assigned local stores weekly and scan product barcodes on displays and aisles. The role supports major retailers and involves data collection, display scanning, and occasional special projects.

Flex hours are provided to fit personal schedules, with travel paid at hourly rate. The position emphasizes independence, reliability, and ongoing data accuracy across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in multiple store locations using a mobile app.
• Perform daily in-store data collection for designated retailers.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours on busy weeks.
• Report to the store within deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
