Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in-aisle locations. You will use a mobile app to collect data and report quantities for a portion of scanned products, helping retailers optimize sales.

The role offers independence, flexible hours, and a consistent schedule with 2–4 hours per week per store plus additional hours for special projects, especially January–June.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to collect data and report quantities for about 45% of products scanned.
• Complete in-store scanning across an entire store on a weekly basis.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours in peak weeks.
• Maintain timely deadlines and independent work habits.
