Job summary

ScanScape in Old Forge, NY is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores weekly and scan barcodes on displays and in aisles. The role uses a mobile app and requires reliable transportation and the ability to stand for long periods.

You will work 3–5 hours on average per week with occasional extra hours for special projects. Competitive hourly pay of $17, flexible scheduling, and eligibility for 401(k) with employer matching are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in multiple store locations using a mobile app.
• Perform in-store data collection and display scanning weekly.
• Complete tasks within weekly deadlines and assist with special projects as needed.
• Provide accurate product quantities for a portion of scanned items.
• Maintain dependable scheduling with flexibility for store requirements.
