Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates for New Windsor, NY 12553 and surrounding stores. Roles involve visiting local retailers weekly to scan barcodes across displays and aisles using a mobile app, with data used to improve product sales.

Expect 2–5 hours per week per store; additional hours may be assigned for special projects. Hours are flexible and on-site, with compensation at $17/hr plus travel paid at hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations and report quantities as required.
• Complete store-wide Display Scanning weekly; may include Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours in some weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines to deliver accurate data to clients.
• Flexible scheduling with part-time hours, with some travel between stores.
