Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores across NY, scanning product barcodes on displays and aisles using a mobile app. You will help collect data to improve sales performance for retailers and brands.

The role offers flexibility with 4–6 hours per week, potential extra hours for special projects, and requires reliable transportation. Must be able to work independently and maintain attention to detail while standing and walking throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with state auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collection by scanning barcodes with a mobile app.
• Visit designated stores on a regular schedule.
• Scan products at displays and in aisles, including end caps.
• Provide accurate quantities for about 45% of scanned items.
• Work 4–6 hours per week with additional hours for special projects as needed.
