Job summary

The Michael's Companies is seeking a Part-time Sales Manager in Sandusky, OH to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store and drive strong sales results. You will oversee front-end operations, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to SOPs, brand standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include coaching for exceptional customer experience, managing POS transactions and omni-channel fulfillment, and coordinating in-store programs from balloons to loyalty enrollment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop front-line teams.
• Strong knowledge of store operations and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout for smooth transactions.
• Oversee events like balloons, birthday parties and in-store programs.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and drive customer retention.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices.
