Job summary

The Retail Sales Assistant at Biltmore is responsible for sales, exceptional guest service, and accurate cash register operations. You will assist guests with selections, locate inventory, and help drive up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to increase revenues.

This role opens and closes the shops, performs side work, restocks merchandise, maintains clean shop presentation, and provides support to leadership and the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or guest services preferred.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
• Basic math and cash handling ability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests to ensure a memorable experience.
• Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately.
• Open or close shop and perform side work as directed.
• Restock merchandise and maintain shop cleanliness and presentation.
• Develop knowledge of merchandise to upsell and cross-sell.
• Assist with restocking and merchandise placement throughout the day.
• Maintain professional phone/radio etiquette per guidelines.
• Support leadership and team with a positive attitude.
