Job summary

FirstCash in Houston, TX is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, assist with sales, loans and product inquiries, and keep the floor neat and inviting.

You will earn $10.00–$14.00 per hour plus unlimited commission (2–8%). Benefits include Earned Wage Access, employee discounts, 401(k) auto-enrollment, and paid time off based on tenure. Weekend availability and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and team mindset required.
• Basic math skills and comfort with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Complete required training and follow company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
