Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Houston, TX to greet customers, assist with sales and loan inquiries, and maintain a welcoming, well‑stocked sales floor. Pay ranges from $10.00 to $14.00 per hour plus commissions up to 8%, with Earned Wage Access after day 2, employee discounts from day one, and 401(k) auto‑enrollment after 6 months.

Candidates must be 18+, hold a HS diploma or GED, be able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs, and have flexible weekend availability;

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends; bilingual preferred.
• Experience with retail checkout systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Explain terms and process paperwork for pawn and short-term loans.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately per guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise condition and value to support decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations and basic opening/closing tasks.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
