Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Houston, TX. You will greet customers, assist with sales, loans, and product inquiries while maintaining a clean sales floor and accurate cash handling.

The role offers $10.00-$14.00 per hour plus commission up to 8%, flexible scheduling, earned wage access after day 2, employee discounts, and a path to benefits with tenure. Basic math and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Comfort with a variety of merchandise, firearms in FFL locations; certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Explain terms and process paperwork for pawn and short-term loans.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately per guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations including opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
