Job summary

FirstCash in Houston is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate who greets customers, assists with sales, loans, and product inquiries, and helps maintain a welcoming store floor.

The role offers hourly pay between $10 and $14 plus commission up to 8%, with scheduling typical 9AM–6PM in many locations. Earned Wage Access starts after day 2, and employee discounts apply from day one. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Bilingual communication in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to handle cash and basic math accurately.
• Strong sales and upselling skills with customers.
• Clear, effective communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Explain terms and guide customers through pawn/short-term loan processes for a smooth experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company policies.
• Assess merchandise condition and value to support buying/selling decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and attractive displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly; ensure accuracy.
