Job summary

The Salvation Army in California is seeking a Lead Sales for TSA ARC Family Store. This part-time role (approx. 25 hours per week) focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales budgets, and mentoring team members to ensure organized store operations and compliant handling of donations and cash.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Store Manager, managing POS and inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining ARC standards while fostering a positive community presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check; ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store operations; manage POS and inventory.
• Ensure ARC merchandising standards and donations are maintained.
• Supervise staff in absence of managers; schedule employees and track attendance.
• Drive sales and profitability; monitor KPIs to meet budgets and goals.
• Provide excellent customer and donor service and maintain community relations.
• Support back room processing and security of currency and inventory.
