Job summary

The Salvation Army (ARC) is seeking a Part-time Lead Sales for the TSA Family Store in California. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining organized merchandising, and supporting store operations to meet sales targets.

You will work closely with the management team, supervise staff in the absence of store leadership, and help implement Work Therapy Assignments while ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales partners with the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening/closing, POS, inventory, donations, and merchandising.
• Assists Store Manager and supervises staff in the absence of Store/Assistant Manager, ensuring coverage and conduct.
• Monitors key performance indicators to drive sales and profitability in line with budgets and goals.
• Schedules employees and conducts team meetings; provides coaching and development to store staff.
