Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist customers, merchandise, and handle cash register duties. You will work cross-functionally to maintain a clean, welcoming environment and participate in front-end and back-end tasks as needed.

You will be part of a team that prioritizes friendly customer interactions, safety, and efficiency while meeting company standards across merchandising, stocking, and checkout processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Assisting with cleanliness and restocking as needed
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned
