Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support store operations, merchandising, and customer service on a part-time basis. The role includes cash register support and front-end duties as needed, with responsibilities ranging from receiving freight to keeping the store clean and presentable.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or service experience, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High integrity and reliability.
• Basic math for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms and floors.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe environment and positive interactions with customers and staff.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register.
• Protect cash and company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
