Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help run daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

Your day‑to‑day includes receiving merchandise, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, friendly shopping environment while handling sales transactions with the cash register and protecting company assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail/customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms; sweeping and mopping floors.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
