Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers and process transactions in a fast-paced Carlisle store. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, maintain a clean and friendly environment, stock shelves, and help unload trucks.

This part-time role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow store procedures. Equal opportunity employer in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
