Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate for New Windsor, NY 12553. You will visit local stores weekly to scan barcodes and collect product data using a mobile app. Expect 2–5 hours weekly, with additional hours for special projects throughout the year.

Responsibilities include in-store data collection across grocery and other retailers, with deadlines and flexible scheduling. Eligible for 401(k), paid travel, and referral rewards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app.
• Complete in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year, including holidays.
• Provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products and assist with Custom Projects.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data for clients.
• Work independently with flexibility in scheduling and travel.
