Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Mahwah, NJ. You will visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles using a mobile app.

Hours average 4–10 per week; additional hours may be required for special projects. This on-site role offers flexible scheduling, travel reimbursement at hourly rate, 401(k) with employer matching, and a chance to contribute to retail data insights across major chains.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to endure standing for long periods and to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach 6 feet, bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Must have reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in assigned stores weekly using a mobile app.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete display scanning across the store weekly, which can take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours in some weeks.
• Maintain weekly deadlines and dependable work ethic.
