Job summary

Hyatt Tampa is seeking a part-time Bartender for our restaurant and bar. You will prepare beverages for bar guests and servers, greet guests, and provide welcoming service in a fast-paced dining setting.

The role emphasizes responsible alcohol service, attention to detail, and teamwork with the F&B team. Prior bartending experience and a high school diploma are required or preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant or high-volume bar.
• Experience working with servers and supporting table service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for bar guests and restaurant server drink orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, make recommendations, and provide welcoming service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Support servers by preparing beverages and coordinating drink delivery during meal service.
• Process guest payments, manage tabs, and handle cash accurately.
• Verify guest ID and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bar areas, glassware, equipment, and tools.
• Assist with bar opening and closing procedures.
• Address guest concerns professionally and alert management when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
