Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City, OR is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Days Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The role handles routine and emergency respiratory therapy procedures, including ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, airway care, and advanced interventions per physician orders.

The position includes day shift (6am–6:30pm) with on-call after hours; sign-on/relocation incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• Oregon license to practice respiratory care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS within 6 months.
• NRP/other SAHS certifications may be required per crosswalk.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and ventilator management.
• Deliver aerosols and assist with bronchoscopy.
• Arterial line placement, ABG sampling and interpretation.
• Routinely round with physicians in critical care units; precept staff.
• Complete all mandatory training on time.
• Adjust care according to protocols and patient condition.
