Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The role provides routine and emergency respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, and airway care, with independent clinical judgment and mentorship of staff.

Position is part-time with rotating 12-hour shifts; benefits begin Day 1 and a sign-on bonus may be offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Requirements include active Idaho or Oregon respiratory care license and NBRC RRT credential.
• BLS from AHA or Red Cross required; ACLS/PALS may substitute in some cases.
• Experience with critical care procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and manage airway and ventilator support.
• Deliver medicated aerosols, bronchial hygiene, and lung expansion therapies.
• Assist with bronchoscopy and arterial line placements; ABG analysis.
• Provide rounds with physicians and mentor staff; ensure timely training.
