Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, OR seeks a dedicated Part-Time Mixed Shift Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The role includes routine and emergency respiratory procedures, ventilator management, and mentorship of staff, with a schedule of 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• License to practice respiratory care in the state of Oregon.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS; NRP/ACLS/PALS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessment and ventilator management.
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostics and airway care.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, intubation, CPR and arterial line/ABG related tasks.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and mentor staff.
