Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, OR is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Mixed Shift Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. This role involves routine and emergency respiratory care, including ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, and airway care.

Position may be eligible for sign-on and relocation incentives. You will participate in rounds, mentor staff, and provide high-quality care in a community with outdoor activities and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• BLS required at hire; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• NRP, ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessment and ventilator management in both routine and emergency scenarios.
• Assist with pulmonary diagnostics, airway care, and bronchoscopy support.
• Apply independent clinical judgment and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
• Precept and mentor new and existing staff to maintain high care standards.
• Perform arterial line insertions and ABG sampling and interpretation.
