Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City, OR is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Days Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The schedule is 24 hours per week on day shift from 6am to 6:30pm; on-call after scheduled day shift in Baker City.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, airway care, and advanced procedures such as intubation, CPR, and bronchoscopy assistance, with independent clinical judgment and mentorship of staff.

Qualifications

• License to practice respiratory care in Oregon.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted; NRP/ACLS/PALS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory assessment, airway and ventilator management, and pulmonary diagnostics.
• Deliver medicated aerosols and bronchial hygiene therapy.
• Arterial line placement, ABG sampling/interpretation, and bronchoscopy assistance.
