Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in Monroe, NC is seeking a Developmental Specialist Residential to support individuals with developmental and behavioral needs in a part-time, PRN role. You will help participants pursue personal goals and participate in the community.

You will assess requests, build relationships, promote rights and safety, and document progress. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with experience in mental health or developmental disability preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience with mental health, intellectual/developmental disability, or substance use disorders preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess people’s hopes and goals and provide supports to achieve them.
• Develop relationships and promote community participation and advocacy.
• Ensure rights, safety, and documentation of progress and goals.
• Support daily living tasks and transportation as needed.
• Attend meetings, training, and maintain required certifications.
