Native American Development Corporation is seeking a part-time, fully remote APEX Procurement Specialist to support Native/tribally owned businesses with procurement technical assistance. The role emphasizes outreach, training delivery, and guidance on federal, state, local, and tribal contracting opportunities.

The position requires strong communication, independent work capability, and experience in government contracting.

Qualifications

Significant experience in government contracting, procurement, business development, or related field.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (minimum 3+ years).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business tools.
Experience working with Native American communities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one counseling and technical assistance to clients regarding procurement opportunities and processes.
Identify procurement opportunities aligned with client capabilities and assist with registrations (e.g., SAM.gov).
Assist with bid/proposal preparation and post-award contract support.
Advise clients on government contracting laws, regulations, and procedures.
Monitor client progress, maintain records, and ensure reporting requirements.
Conduct outreach to recruit new clients and participate in trainings and events (virtual and in-person).
Maintain client management records and stay current with procurement regulations.
