Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Parsons Presbyterian Manor in Parsons, KS. As a Registered Dietitian with Cura Hospitality, you will assess nutritional needs of residents, implement interventions to support nutritional status, and improve quality of life in line with residents’ goals.

This role is scheduled for 9 hours per week with flexible days. Required are a nutrition degree, licensure, and knowledge of regulatory standards; plus ability to educate patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (before 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national exam by the CDR or meets Academy eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours CE every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Nice-to-haves: healthcare or long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve and maintain nutritional status.
• Enhance quality of life aligned with patient’s/resident’s goals.
• Educate patients/residents and healthcare staff on nutrition.
• Work with dining services and nutrition policies.
