Job summary

Cura Hospitality in Parsons, KS is seeking an experienced Part-Time Casual Registered Dietitian to join our team at Parsons Presbyterian Manor. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance residents’ quality of life, with a flexible schedule of about 9 hours per week.

Must hold a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and a Master’s in Nutrition, be eligible for CDR or meet eligibility, and possess licensure. Healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) is required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Passes the CDR exam or meets eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
