Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our team at Parsons Presbyterian Manor in Parsons, KS. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and supporting residents’ quality of life. The schedule is about 9 hours per week with flexibility on days worked.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the health care team, educating residents and staff, and ensuring adherence to standards and regulations. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (or related field) completed.
• Master's degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passed the national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, via portfolio development.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to care teams and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
