Zusammenfassung

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support elderly residents at Farmington Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, MO. The role is hybrid, with 17 hours on-site and 8 hours every other week at Rolla Presbyterian Manor, focusing on nutrition assessments and care planning.

The RD will provide nutrition education, create care plans, complete MDS documentation, and collaborate with the care team to optimize resident nutrition and quality of life.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years (CDR) using portfolio development.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions, quarterly/annual assessments, tube feedings, weight changes +/-4% in 1 month, wounds and hospice considerations.
• Nutrition education to residents as needed.
• Create and update care plans for nurses and aides to reference at meals based on resident preferences.
• Complete MDS for Section K and CAAs.
• Use nutrition-focused physical exams to identify malnutrition per ASPEN criteria.
• Join care conferences with families to discuss resident changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in weekly clinical meetings.
• Attend QAPI and Performance Improvement meetings quarterly.
• Conduct monthly Kitchen Inspections and Meal Service Audits.
