Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to serve residents at Farmington Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, MO, with hybrid duties covering occasional shifts at Rolla Presbyterian Manor. The role focuses on nutrition assessments, care planning, and improving residents’ quality of life through tailored nutrition interventions.

The position is 17 hours at Farmington with biweekly coverage at Rolla, offering a sign-on bonus and competitive benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions and quarterly/annual reviews.
• Deliver nutrition education to residents as needed.
• Create and update care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs.
• Complete MDS for Section K and CAAs.
• Identify malnutrition per ASPEN criteria using nutrition-focused exams.
• Lead family care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Support QAPI and quarterly quality improvement meetings.
• Perform monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.
