Elior Living is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support elderly residents at Farmington Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, MO. The role combines nutrition assessment and care planning with resident education in a hybrid schedule.

The candidate will cover 17 hours per week at Farmington and 8 hours biweekly at Rolla Presbyterian Manor, helping maintain nutrition status and quality of life in a supportive team environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutrition assessments for admissions, quarterly assessments, annual assessments, tube feedings, weight changes +/-4% in 1 month, wounds, and significant changes.
• Provide nutrition education to residents as needed.
• Create and update care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs to reference at meals and snacks.
• Complete MDS for Section K and CAAs.
• Use nutrition-focused physical exams to identify malnutrition per ASPEN criteria.
• Attend care conferences with families to update on resident changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for resident-centered care during weekly meetings.
• Participate in QAPI and quality improvement meetings quarterly.
• Perform monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.
