Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support elderly residents at Farmington Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, MO, with hybrid scheduling. The role includes assessing nutritional needs, implementing interventions, and improving quality of life aligned with residents' goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (or related field) required.
• Passed national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible under Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions, quarterly, annual, tube feedings, weight changes, wounds, and hospice/ADL related changes.
• Provide nutrition education to residents as needed.
• Create and update quarterly care plans for nurses and care staff.
• Complete MDS for Section K and CAAs.
• Use nutrition-focused physical exams to identify malnutrition per ASPEN criteria.
• Attend care conferences with families to discuss changes in residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in weekly clinical meetings for resident-centered care.
• Participate in QAPI Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Meetings quarterly.
• Conduct monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.
