Job summary

GSOFCT is seeking a PART-TIME RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR to implement effective recruitment events within the Connecticut region. The role focuses on recruiting youth members and adult volunteers, collaborating with council staff and volunteers, and delivering engaging Girl Scout activities for girls and caregivers.

The position requires local travel, with primarily evenings and weekend hours to meet membership goals. Remote work may involve office visits and regional travel within the council.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Hospitality or related field is preferred.
• Experience with proven recruitment and/or sales results preferred.
• Experience working with youth and Girl Scouts is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Host recruitment events and engage with potential members and volunteers.
• Lead on-site and virtual recruitment sessions during evenings and weekends.
• Assist with online registrations and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to meet recruitment goals.
• Deliver engaging activities for girls and caregivers at events.
