Job summary

Walnut Avenue Family & Women’s Center is seeking a part-time Recruiter to attract, screen, and support candidates through onboarding. The role blends in-office work with community events and job fairs, requiring flexibility and strong relationship-building.

The recruiter will manage candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews, and maintain accurate recruitment records in the ATS. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus; 20 hours per week, with pay between $20.00–$24.00/hr plus differential

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in recruiting, talent acquisition or related field.
• Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, social networks, colleges, and events.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with candidates, managers, and community partners.
• Ability to manage multiple openings, timelines, and recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, colleges, and community events.
• Post and maintain job opportunities across platforms and at events.
• Represent Walnut Avenue at job fairs and community outreach events.
• Coordinate interviews and scheduling with hiring managers; ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain ATS records and onboarding materials; track progress and outcomes.
