Job summary

Walnut Avenue Family & Women’s Center is seeking a Part-Time Recruiter to attract, source, screen, and support candidates through the recruitment and onboarding process. The role balances in-office work with community outreach and job fair attendance to promote opportunities and the agency’s mission.

The position is 20 hours per week, non-exempt, and pays $20.00–$24.00 per hour with bilingual/ biliterate differentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in recruiting or related field.
• Experience proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, or events.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with partners to manage recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates via job boards, social media, colleges, and community events.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens against job requirements.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate records in the ATS and support onboarding activities.
