Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One or more years of work experience in recreation or a related field.
• Community CPR and First Aid certifications required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• If supervising children, Level 2 Background check required within 30 days of hire.
• If fitness role, personal training certification required within six months of hire.
• If front desk, customer service and cash handling experience required.
• Valid Florida driver license within 30 days of hire.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk - in person customer service, cash handling and answering a high volume of phone calls.
• Assist with diversified recreation programs and services for all ages.
• Assist patrons with facility and program registration; collect fees and generate activity rosters.
• Assist with recreation facility rentals and provide tours to prospective renters.
• Respond to questions and concerns from patrons and refer as appropriate.
• Participate in community outreach to promote recreation programs.
• Maintain safety procedures and order in crowded environments.
• Assist with daily, monthly, and annual maintenance of facilities.
• Assist management with reporting and data analysis.
