Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of work experience in recreation or related field.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• If supervising children, Level 2 Background check within 30 days of hire.
• If in fitness program, personal training certification required within 6 months.
• If in front desk role, customer service and cash handling experience required.
• Valid Florida driver license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations and activities of assigned recreation program area.
• Assist patrons with facility and program registration; collect fees and process registrations.
• Assist with recreation facility rentals; provide tours and information to prospective renters.
• Respond to patron questions and concerns; resolve problems or refer to supervisor.
• Participate in community outreach to promote recreation programs and stimulate interest.
• Provide excellent customer service; maintain safety in crowded/noisy environments.
• Assist with daily, monthly, and annual maintenance of facilities; assist management with reporting and data analysis.
