Community Health Resources (CHR) is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for the MCRT Windsor program in Windsor, CT. This part-time position (28 hours per week) supports crisis triage, recovery planning, and linkage to services, working Monday–Thursday with flexible hours.

Qualified candidates will have lived recovery experience, 2+ years in the field, and CPSRP or equivalent certification, plus a valid driver’s license. Training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Lived experience establishing and maintaining recovery from mental health or substance use conditions as required.
• 2+ years working with identified populations; CPSRP preferred.
• Certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire; valid driver’s license required.
• Certified Peer Support & Recovery Specialist (CPSRP) or Recovery Coach Certification or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assists clients in identifying and advocating their recovery goals.
• Provides case management and links clients to community resources.
• Conducts program-specific assessments and develops person-centered plans.
• Delivers crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Maintains documentation and participates in meetings.

Formation
