Job summary

Step Ahead ABA in Durham, NC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home therapy on weekday mornings. You will deliver direct therapy under a BCBA-defined plan and support families in their homes with compassionate, evidence-based care.

The role offers flexible hours, a clear supervision pathway, and a meaningful career path within a supportive team. Compensation includes direct-therapy pay and non-billable time coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri mornings.
• Comfort working in a family's home.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work you do.
• Supervision is provided by the BCBA with competency assessments and feedback.
• You’ll be paid for non-billable time such as training and required meetings.
