Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in California is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to work 1:1 with children in home, clinic, or school settings. You’ll deliver structured, play-based activities to build communication, social, and daily living skills, with sessions typically lasting 2–3 hours.

We offer paid 40-hour RBT training, competitive hourly pay of $20–$24, and a path to certification, with benefits and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly preferred: RBT, BCAT, ABAT certification or ABA paraprofessional training certificate.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
