Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services (BTS) is hiring in California for part-time RBT roles. You will work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays, in-home or clinic settings, delivering structured, play-based activities to build communication and daily living skills.

Sessions run 2–3 hours with a flexible schedule, 2–8pm, across Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Martinez, Concord, and Oakley. Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required; 18+ and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification.
• Preferred: student or recent graduate in psychology, education, sociology, biology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
