Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support K–12 students in a Boulder, CO school setting. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with school teams to promote positive student outcomes.

The role offers competitive pay up to $30/hour, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) with company match. Certification reimbursement and CEU support are available.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
• High school diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs is preferred.
• School-based or ABA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support to students.
• Collect and track data on student progress and behaviors.
• Support students with social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
