Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support K-12 students in a Boulder, CO school setting. You will implement BIPs, collect data, and collaborate with school teams to promote student progress.

Ideal candidates hold an active RBT certification and a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree is a plus. ABA experience and strong communication are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
• School-based or ABA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support to students.
• Collect and track data on student progress and behaviors.
• Support students with social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
