Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a K–12 school setting in Longmont, CO. You’ll support students with behavioral and developmental needs by implementing individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and collaborating with school teams.

This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced RBTs. We offer a competitive pay range up to $30/hour with a steady school-year schedule, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication, patience and teamwork skills.
• School-based or ABA experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide 1:1 or small group behavioral support to students.
• Collect and track data on student progress and behaviors.
• Support students with social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
